No file yet? Request it from Instagram
- The full list, free — every name, no limit
- Also: who unfollowed you since your last check, fans you don't follow back
- Works for any account — personal, Creator or Business
Your result
Based on the file you selected — a snapshot from the moment Instagram created it.
Off by default. When on, only your followers' usernames and the date of the export are kept, in this browser on this device — never sent anywhere. Next time, load a newer download to see who unfollowed you.
To unfollow, open a profile and tap Following → Unfollow. Instagram may temporarily limit accounts that unfollow a lot in a short time, so take it slowly.
Step by step
How to download your followers list from Instagram
Instagram lets you download a copy of your own data. You need one category only. Instagram prepares the file and lets you know when it is ready — often within minutes, sometimes later.
-
Open Download your information
In the Instagram app, go to your profile, open the menu and choose Accounts Center → Your information and permissions → Download your information.
-
Pick only Followers and following
Choose Download or transfer information, select your Instagram account, then Some of your information, and tick Followers and following. Nothing else is needed.
-
Download to device as JSON
Choose Download to device, set Date range to All time and Format to JSON (HTML works too), then Create files.
-
Select the ZIP on this page
When the file is ready, download it in Download your information and select it above. On a phone, pick it from Files or Downloads.
The link opens Instagram's own page — you sign in there, not here. Instagram renames its menus from time to time; if a label looks different, look for Download your information in Accounts Center.

Your file stays on your device
Read in your browser
This page unpacks the ZIP and compares the two lists with JavaScript on your device. The file is never uploaded — not to Oktio.app, not anywhere else.
No password, no login
You download your data from Instagram yourself. This check never asks for your Instagram password and does not connect to your account.
Saved only if you ask
By default nothing is kept — not in cookies, not in your browser's storage. Tick “Remember this result” and only your followers' usernames and the export date stay in this browser until you forget them. Where analytics is allowed, it counts only that a check was finished — never usernames or numbers.
Want proof? Once this page has loaded, switch on airplane mode and run the check — it still works, because nothing needs to be sent.
FAQ
Questions about the follow-back check
Is the check really free?
Yes. You see the full list — every account that doesn't follow you back, not only the first few — with no account, no sign-up and no payment.
Is it safe? Can you see my followers?
Nobody but you sees them. Your browser reads the file on your device and nothing from it is uploaded — Oktio.app receives none of it. The check doesn't ask for your Instagram password and doesn't sign in to your account.
Why download my data instead of logging in?
Instagram doesn't give other apps the list of your followers. Tools that ask for your password sign in as you, which goes against Instagram's rules and puts your account at risk. The download is Instagram's own way to get your lists.
Can it show who unfollowed me?
Yes, from your second check on. After a check, tick “Remember this result on this device”. Next time you load a newer download, the page lists who unfollowed you and who started following you since then, with the dates of both downloads. Only your followers' usernames and the export date are kept, in this browser — nothing is sent anywhere, and “Forget saved result” deletes them. The Recently unfollowed list is different: it shows accounts you unfollowed.
Why is someone on the list who does follow me?
The file is a snapshot from the moment Instagram created it, so a follow that came later is not in it. Deactivated accounts can appear too. Request a fresh file with Date range set to All time.
It says the lists are missing. What now?
The file needs the Followers and following category; if you chose other categories only, request a new one. If you extracted the ZIP, select followers_1 (plus followers_2 … if there are more) and following from the folder connections → followers_and_following. JSON and HTML both work.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. On an iPhone, save the ZIP to Files and pick it from there; on Android, pick it from Downloads. A big export with photos and videos works too — only the two small lists inside it are read.
Should I unfollow everyone who doesn't follow back?
Not necessarily. Brands, creators you learn from and friends who rarely post are worth keeping. Use the list to tidy up accounts you no longer care about — slowly, because Instagram may limit accounts that unfollow many people in a short time.
Why does someone show as unfollowed who still follows me?
The comparison goes by username, and the download doesn't say when an account was renamed: a renamed account shows up as unfollowed under its old name and as a new follower under its new one. Accounts that were deactivated or deleted drop out of the list too. Open the profile to check.
Now show brands what your followers are worth.
