Found this name in your server logs? A creator on Oktio.app links to your site from their bio link page, and the checker makes sure that link still works.

What it is
Creators on Oktio.app can publish a bio link page: one page with the links they share on Instagram. Every night, Oktio.app checks that those links still work, so a creator learns about a broken link before their visitors do.
How it behaves
Once a day at most
Each URL is checked at most once a day, in one nightly run — however many pages link to it.
HEAD first
It sends a HEAD request. Only if the server refuses HEAD does it send a GET.
64 KB at most
It reads at most 64 KB of a response and never downloads whole files.
One request per second
It sends at most one request per second to the same host.
Public networks only
It never connects to private or internal network addresses, and it checks every redirect it follows (five at most) the same way.
No crawling
It checks only the exact URL a creator added. It never follows the links on your pages.
What it does not do
No indexing
Nothing it sees goes into a search index. It only learns whether the link works.
No content stored
It keeps the result of the check, such as the HTTP status code, never the content of your page.
No personal data
It sends no cookies or login details and collects no personal data.
